When I go biking, I repeat a mantra of the day’s sensations: bright sun, blue sky, warm breeze, blue jay’s call, ice melting and so on. This helps me transcend the traffic, ignore the clamorings of work, leave all the mind theaters behind and focus on nature instead. I still must abide by the rules of the road, of biking, of gravity. But I am mentally far away from civilization. The world is breaking someone else’s heart. ~Diane Ackerman

What a great idea this is!!!
I am going to try to do this with my morning walk or run.

Very beautiful quote and picture . I love biking though I never owned a bike on my own. I hope to finally get one this year .

Oh, you definitely should get one! It’s such an amazing little vehicle. I ride a lot and am hopelessly in love with my bicycles and I keep them both in my bedroom much to my mom’s horror. π Hope you get one for yourself soon!
And thank you. π
