Thanks Brian. And what you said is very true. Not much change and in fact, that I feel is something that proves how beautiful a design the bicycle is and has always been! π
Even I love old books and I have a few in my collection. Some are in very bad shape, but I try my best to keep them as safe as I can. Maybe one day I will upload a photo of them. π
Yes, humidity is an issue. Not just books, even camera lenses are affected. Monsoon season too can be problematic with mold, fungus, etc., eating into the books. We need to regularly monitor them. For my camera lenses, I have a simple dehumidifier. A dry cabinet is the best option, but the automatic ones are quite expensive. So for now, I am happy with the dehumidifier. π
I love how neatly it’s labelled, so many different parts and none of the lines seem to get in the way of each other. Very pleasing to someone who loves to have things organised and in order!
Yes, gorgeous.

I love the look of that very smart bicycle in the midst of a page of text.

I love old books. Illustrations in old βhow toβ books mesmerize me. Iβve always loved looking into eras before my time.

That illustration is simple and clear and stands out breaking the monotony of the page. And a beautiful photo that is!
